Without doubt New York is one of the best places on Earth to consider for a Christmas Shopping Cruise, with hundreds of leading shops and malls to visit you will be spoilt for choice.

This Cunard Cruise on the Queen Mary 2 leaves Southampton on the 12th and arrives in New York on the 19th. Almost mirroring the journey set by the Titanic on that fateful day in April, 1912.

Of course, we don’t have any expectations that this particular cruise is going to sink.

Obviously this is Cunard so you can expect Luxury, almost a hundred years have passed and they were using Gold Cutlery back then. Not withstanding the comment on the Council House Cabin you get for £599, I must point out that a Cunard Council House Cabin is a very nice Cabin indeed, it’s just that they offer so much more.

That “Council House Cabin” is akin to the 3rd class lounge on the Titanic? It’s the lowest level of Cabin they offer, how different can it be? (£1198 for 2 people to find out for sure?)
